Tips for getting pregnant

Hi everybody!

For background, I got officially diagnosed with moderate endometriosis late December of 2023 when I had laparoscopy to remove an ovarian cyst (I’ve already been diagnosed with PCOS). After my surgery I got on Orilissa to manage my symptoms until my husband and I were ready to have a baby. I was basically symptom and pain free for about six months, then the symptoms creeped back in.

I am a year out from my surgery and am experiencing the same amount of pain I was before. And as much as I love my OBGYN, she can’t do much for me with this other than birth control, and that’s a road I refuse to go down again. (I have done some research on other ways to help manage, and am doing the best I can to make these lifestyle changes. But please let me know how you manage yours!)

Essentially, my husband and I have decided to TTC and I’m looking for some tips to make it as easy as possible!

Please tell me your stories with any tips from diet, lifestyle modifications, and what to expect, to what life will be like during and after pregnancy. I’ll take any and all advice!

Thank you in advance! I love knowing there’s a little community of support

Hi Alisha! Welcome to Worthy Warrior and thank you for sharing your story with the community

First off I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. Personally the route that I took was having a the excision surgery and trying almost immediately after. My husband and I spent 1 year trying and it just seemed to always weigh on me, every time I would wake up it was all I thought about. Once my husband and I agreed to both have the relaxed “it will happen when it’s time” attitude and stopped tracking and timing ovulation it happened. I know it’s easier said than done, but the least amount of stress on yourself is a huge deal.
I also drink the Pink Stork Fertility Tea religiously! I focused more on my well being physically and mentally. :heartpulse:
Best of luck to you and your husband.
