Exploring self-care practices, relaxation techniques, and holistic approaches to improve well-being with Endometriosis.
Me too! What have you discovered?
Beat my MRI or CT claustrophobia by keeping my eyes closed the whole time and treating it like shavasana in yoga.
I recommend yoga adjusted to your current pain level and tolerance or fitness followed by nice shavasana lots of free ones on YouTube skip around until you find an instructor you like before you give up. So many different styles, voices etc.
The breath practice is crucial for calming myself and controlling myself.
Lifestyle changes:
I’m about to try anti-inflammatory diet for the pain. Changing my soaps and cleaners to ones that are actually natural and don’t just say they are and aren’t toxic. And organic cotton unbleached undyed underwear and pjs to make healthier changes in my life and it makes me feel calmer and less dangerous, as my night sweats are bad anyways I feel like I’m soaking in the chemicals in my clothing’s dye/material overnight from my cute cheap set very not organic I wish someone told me this at 10 and I actually believed them when I first started building my wardrobe but not trying to overwhelm myself and just starting with my bedtime wear. Look into Namarie instead of buying your next pair of leggings or workout clothes, they’re expensive but then I remember I’ve had some leggings of mine for 6 years now. if you can or industry of nations before you reorder underwear. Switched my sheets to antibacterial silver ones from Amazon I feel better about that too. I hope they don’t turn out to be bad for you but these little changes relax me like I could be making a difference and I hope I am.
