One of my favorite anti inflammatory, endo friendly recipes!!!

At the advice of a nutritionist I took a food sensitivity test. That helped me know foods I had always eaten I need to avoid, as it was causing me more and adding to problems. I also avoid dairy and gluten. This has helped a lot as well.

I always felt gluten was a problem for me, but when I was tested, I was still surprised to see a high gluten sensitivity result, especially becasue I’m already virtually gluten free!

My diet is:
Gluten free
Soy free
Egg free
Pork free
Low yeast
Low lactose
Peanut free
Veggies cooked vs raw as much as possible
Low artificial anything
No cured meats
Red meat once a week (organic, grass fed, hormone free)
No alcohol

I mainly eat coconut, fruits, yogurt, poultry, rice, corn and cooked veggies. And try to make as many baked coconut goods as possible!

This took me 30 years to figure out my diet! And I think everyones will be different. On SSM Health is an article by SLU care on endo anti inflammatory diet that I found helpful!

Are there foods that you found that made it worse ? Prior to your diet changes .

Kind of Narrowed down the do and don’ts of foods that endometriosis tolerates based on my experience:
-Produce direct from the vine/ farm
-Meats uncured moderate red meats or pork
-Along the same lines about pork cautious about greasy fat foods because likely any
-fried goods are cross contamination with the foods with milk or gluten
-Best avocado or olive oil. little vegetable oil
-Not sure if it is just me but can’t do carbonated drinks because bloated and gas expands.
-also best to avoid caffeine as this is an irritant of chemicals
-if to have any dish with Asian or Chinese foods best if you can make your own and sub the soy sauce with coconut amino acids or alternatives. Along those same lines again could just be me but soybean oil in mayonnaise or butter or anything preservatives. Best to avoid
Hope this helps but always best to check with your medical professional or how your body works. Good luck ladies!
